Important information for the 2018 season
Hello Players & Parents of Coyote Lacrosse – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We are less than 30 days away from the start of the lacrosse season. As we approach the end of our fundraising year and the beginning of practice, here is a reminder of what is coming.
Registration opens Monday, January 29th, 2018 Click Here for registration. Registration & Physical Due by Thursday 2/22/2018
Team Store Will be Open Again within the Week of January 29th
a. EACH PLAYER MUST HAVE A COYOYE Pinnie – These are available via the team store (player who already have pinnies from the last three years need not purchase)
b. Players with COYOTE Credit may use balance toward Team Store Purchases
c. Players (parents) will be reimbursed with a check from Coyote Lacrosse once they make their credit card purchase through the team store
Team Bag Order to be In within the next 2 weeks. We will contact those players who ordered bags as soon as they arrive.
Fundraising for the 2018 Season Ends – February 25th
a. Each player to raise a minimum of $100 through fundraising vehicles Click Here for fundraising information.
b. Try to reduce your out of pocket expenses by loading your grocery cards, Scrip Orders and Pizza Palz over this last month.
c. Remember that Coyote Lacrosse has increased player percentage after the initial $100 from 50% to 75% in your Coyote Credit
d. Pizza Palz are a great way to catch up. We charge $10 for a $25 Old Chicago Large Pizza Gift Card that contributes $5 toward your fundraising.
e. Check Coyote Credit now & after February 1st to know your balance Click Here to find out your current credit.
f. Contact Russ at email@example.com to get Pizza Palz or any grocery store cards (King Soopers or Safeway/Albertsons)
a) February 22 is the last day for player registration.
b) February 22 – 23rd – Coyote Camp 5:00-7:00 Thursday & Friday for all players with Black & Gold Scrimmage 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday 2/24 (Calendar on website)
c) February 25th – Last Day of Fundraising – King Soopers & Safeway Reports end earlier in month so make your major purchases ASAP toward the 2018 season
d) February 26th – It All Begins – Tryouts Monday – Wednesday (all players practice times begin at 5:00 – 7:00 the entire week)
e) March 3rd – Saturday Scrimmage Day – All Levels – Varity (Monarch High), JV (Dawson), JVC (Regis) 9:00 – 11:00 (refer to Calendar on website)
f) March 6th – Team Jersey Distribution – Before Practice – YOUR PLAYER WILL NOT RECEIVE A JERSEY UNLESS THE BELOW ARE COMPLETED
~Jersey Distribution in order of teams – JV (4:00), Varsity (4:30), JVC (5:00)
~Check for Player Fundraising balance (Check made out to Coyote Lacrosse) if short of minimum $100 (check ~Coyote Credit Balance on website before writing check)
~$250 Jersey Deposit (Check Made out to Coyote Lacrosse) – Check is not cashed and will be returned at end of season if uniform returned undamaged
g) March 5th – Team Practice times – Varsity (5:00 – 7:00 Monarch Turf), JV (4:30 – 6:30 Grass East of Gym), JVC (5:00 – 7:00 East of Gym)
h) March 6th – VARSITY PARENT MEETING – Spring Trip – After Practice 7:00 PM
i) March 8th – Team Pictures All Levels – Varsity 4:00, JV 4:30, JVC 5:00
j) April 28th – Save the Date – Coyote Lacrosse Pancake Breakfast (Broomfield – Applebee’s 120th & Lamar)
k) May 14th – Coyote Banquet (all players and their registered guests) – more details to come.
